Gas Check ranks the pumps around you by effective price — the pump price plus the fuel you burn driving there. Portugal and Spain, from official open data.
How effective price works
1.420 + (2.10 ÷ 40) = 1.473 €/L
A pump at 1.420 €/L, a round trip that burns 2.10 € of fuel, 40 litres in the tank. Driving 20 km to save 2 cents a litre usually loses you money.

Where do the prices come from?
Government open data: DGEG in Portugal, MITECO in Spain. One source per country, refreshed on a schedule. When a source is unreachable, Gas Check says so instead of hiding it.
Does it work near the border?
Yes. Near a border, stations from both countries are ranked together in one list by effective price.
What do I have to set up?
Three things about your car: fuel type, consumption in L/100 km, and how far you are willing to drive. That is the whole setup.
